What a great time with a fantastic family! Hay bales, Champ - the chicken, Clarisse - the Pony, Rusty and charming Miss Pat all made for a unique photo session. Lovely, Miss Pat welcomed us at her farm last week and allowed us to take advantage of its picturesque setting. What we did not expect was animal encounters and even a little egg hunt. Family Photography | Connecticut | Autumn with the Sullivans: It's All About the Pictures

So this past weekend I got to spend my Sunday photographing two terrific families. This is the first of the two. Little Miss M and Master S were an absolute riot, and just so adorable. I did not have to pull out the tickler once but I must say I learned that the way to Master S' smiles was a bag of animal crackers. Check out some of the images I captured of this terrific family. I am showing the last image from this session first. It is my absolute favorite. Just love how it undeniably says Autumn.

Can't believe it's October already and Fall seems to be making its mark. The air is feeling a little crisper out there and to Irving's (the hubby) chagrin, our lawn is starting to become covered by leaves. I love Fall, it is such a colorful time and it would seem the weather is just right. This Saturday was a perfect example, could not have asked for a more perfect day. Outside the sun shone and the sky was a brilliant blue and inside I had my own little bit of sunshine. Sweet Baby P and his parents came over for his very first portrait session. You would have thought this was his thousandth. What a character! Can a 5 month old actually pose for the camera? Well, I could have sworn this one did. He just loved the camera. Check out a few of the images I captured (inside and outside) of this little ray of sunshine and don't forget to let me know what you thought. Collante Family - Newburgh, New York Family Photography

Sunday was a day well suited to be spent indoors in the air conditioning, a pool or in front of a very strong fan, however the Collantes, Mom and I headed outdoors for a three generational portrait session. From the minute the session started, we were all in stitches as new and old stories were told. We had such a great time, we almost forgot how hot we were. Thanks you Mom for your assistance and thank you Collantes for allowing me to capture your beautiful family. Until next time.

Connecticut Family Photographer: Dubay Family - Levi Cole Library, Middlefield

A few evenings ago, I had the great honor of capturing three generations as they gathered for a Picnic and small family reunion in honor of Maimai and Pepere Dubay's (as they are fondly called) 45th wedding anniversary. Beaming as they watched their five grandchildren skip about the grounds of the Levi Cole Library, Maimai and Pepere, and their four children, were an absolute joy to work with. Irving, who served as my assistant (for the first time ever), kept the little ones entertained and acquired the nickname "Flash" for his ability to shine the light on our wonderful subjects. Thanks for a great evening (as well as the history lesson), we had a blast.

Look at those amazing "baby blues". He is just so adorable.

Miss Madeline loves the camera and the camera loves her too.

Nate was quiet and reserved but when asked to strike a pose he was more than willing.

Bippity Boppity Boo - Princess K can't help but smile when cuddling with Daddy.

Busy as could be, this little guy has recently learned the art of walking and there was no stopping him from putting it to good use.

Connecticut - Master David at St. Clements Castle

I had the pleasure of meeting up with David, a spunky almost 2 year old, and his parents at gorgeous St. Clements Castle in Portland, CT. St. Clements is where Mom and Dad were married so it holds a special place in their hearts. We had a great time roaming through the impeccable grounds and capturing some terrific images.

"Don't forget your sneaks" - What a great Saturday morning outing with this family. We visited a nearby waterfall which allowed us to get pretty close and personal.
